Plot Twist! This post originally appeared on our sister website in 2020 or 2021 and transferred to irishmonarchy.com on 4/4/2022. Some posts may seem to reference a time in our pandemic state that doesn’t fit with life in 2022 – so that’s why! Thank you for checking our posts and always stay tuned for more!
Launched in 2021, Nursing Decoded wanted to take make our services more customizable. We wanted to give you the answers to meet your needs – not generalized recaps of what you could find online. We all have access to the internet, and many of us have providers that we know and trust. Sometimes, though, they just don’t have the time and resources that you need to get the answers you are looking for.
Accidents & Trauma
No one plans for accidents. If the unexpected occurs, let us help you navigate and understand the plan of care, possible surgery, recovery expectations and more.
From injuries on the job (hernia repair), to a mechanical fall with hip fracture – we have helped others understand what to expect during surgery, post-op recovery and long term recovery. Could a stay at a rehab vs. recovery at home be your biggest questions? We have answered those questions, too.
Everyone should discuss POA, Breathing and Feeding support, DNR, DNI, Comfort Care Measures that they want when the time comes.
No idea what any of that means?
We have helped guide those looking for answers regarding their own health, and with those trying to start those conversations with their aging parents. What questions need to be asked, what really happens when you are a DNR? What happens when you’re a Full Code?
Let us help you start these conversations: help you understand what your options truly are, and what to expect.
Starting to help manage your parents medications? Overwhelmed by your own?
Want a better understanding of questions to ask your Provider on what to do with all your pills?
We can help break down exactly what meds you are taking, why you are taking them, which ones never to stop “cold turkey”.
Know the questions you can ask your Provider about deprescribing; possibly helping you reduce the number of pills you take each day.
Some things you can’t chat about on social media – when unexpected illness, diagnosis, issues or concerns arise for your little ones (or teenager ones) it’s hard to know where to look for answers and support.
We know – we’ve been there.
We’ve tackled topics such as heart surgery, hearing loss, 504 Plans, anxiety, cystic fibrosis, Marfans, and childhood cancers. We have helped find both parental and patient support groups that can help both short term and long term concerns.
Most parents feel as if they are alone – let us help support you so your can focus your time on your child.
Remember to follow along on our Instagram or Twitter for a deeper dive on some examples of the services we provide. Don’t forget, our consultation is always FREE. Send us your questions today and let’s see what we can do to get the answers you need.

You provide such an important service!
These are all very important services that need to be provided!
Coaching from a nurse practitioner would definitely be beneficial in so many situations. For example, my aunt would’ve benefited from this since she was in a severe car accident. She struggled to get out of bed every day and has had several surgeries. She is finally getting better and will hopefully be back to as normal as she can be soon. Thanks for making people aware of the available help.
What a wonderful service to offer – having the opportunity to speak 1:1 with a healthcare professional, where questions are encouraged! In today’s healthcare environment, I know I feel rushed through whatever brought me to the appointment, and there simply isn’t time to discuss some of the items like POA and what exactly planning ahead for end of life treatment may look like.
Coaching success is a great way to learn!
I’ll have to pass this on! I know several people who could benefit from this 🙂
I worked as a registered nurse for 15 years and this service is very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Such a great service. Thank you for sharing.
This sounds like a great service. My siblings manage my dads medications and I know it can be overwhelming.
What a wonderful service you provide!
